The Duchess of Cambridge has returned to some of her work duties after enjoying some time away with her loved ones, Prince William and their three children.

On Thursday afternoon, 40-year-old Kate held an Early Years Meeting via video link. The private engagement does not come as a surprise as the royal is passionate about children’s mental health and the early years.

In June 2021, the Duchess launched The Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood, which aims to raise awareness of the importance of early years experiences in shaping society over the long term.

Trick-or-treaters may see fewer of their favorite sweets while going door-to-door this October.

Hershey announced in the company’s second-quarter earnings call on Thursday that it expects to face a candy shortage amid ongoing struggles with the global supply chain.

The company’s CEO was warned specifically that it would not be able to meet the demand for Halloween this year.

“We will not be able to fully meet consumer demand,” CEO Michele Buck said in prepared remarks.

While the company has added production capacity, Hershey said it can’t keep up for this year. The candymaker has also been hit by a shortage of essential ingredients like cocoa as a result of a global supply chain issues due to the pandemic and the war in Ukraine.

Balancing non-seasonal

Michael B. Jordan’s epic fight sequel Creed III has been delayed until 2023. The upcoming Creed sequel (and the ninth film in the Rocky franchise) was originally expected to debut on November 23 but has now been pushed back until March 3, 2023.

Jordan once again stars as Adonis Creed – the son of the legendary Rocky opponent, Apollo Creed. But this time around, Jordan will also be stepping behind the camera, making his directorial debut.

Jonathan Majors will appear as new challenger, Anderson Dame.

Creed III will be the first of the Creed films without an appearance from Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa – unsurprising, given his passing of the torch in Creed II. The second film ends with Adonis making peace with carrying his father’s legacy, while Rocky himself travels to Vancouver – patching things up with his son and finally meeting his grandson.
